Welcome to the Smart NOI program. This site is designed to provide you with a quick and easy way to file a Notice of Intent (NOI) for permit coverage, apply for a waiver, or file a Notice of Termination (NOT) to terminate coverage under the AZPDES Construction General Permit.
You can use the Smart NOI System to:
- Electronically sign your Smart NOI. To create an e-signature account, go to http://secure.az.gov. From the left column, select Create a MySecureAZ Account. Enter your email address and click on Submit. A message will be sent to your email with instructions on how to activate your account.
- Fill out a Smart NOI even if you don't meet the definition of an authorized signatory. The system lets you complete the form for later signature by the appropriate signatory. (However, if you save this document as a Temporary NOI, you will not be able to access the document unless you have an e-signature account.)
- Submit your Notice of Termination (NOT), even if you submitted a paper NOI.
